We flew from Chiang Mai after a wonderful visit to the mountains and forests of the far Northern part of Thailand, so it was such an unbelievable change of scenery to arrive in Phuket. We landed in Phuket and took a car to the ferry port, a large Ferry to the Phi Phi Island Marina, and a long tail boat to the resort. It was an adventure to get to the resort. They usually have a tractor that will come out to the boat to take you back to the resort, but the waves prevented it, so we had the option to wait or walk with our bags on our heads. We, of course, choose the latter LOL. The water was warm and shallow for a long distance out to the sea. I guess the reason the boats can't get closer to the resort.
The Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort 189 traditional Thai-style bungalows and 12 Hillside Pool Villas are designed to fit seamlessly into the natural surroundings. We were lucky to have a 2-room bungalow high above the resort with our own private pool. The décor is stylish, and the spacious rooms look out onto the private beach and the Andaman Sea.
The resort has four restaurants and a pool bar. The resort caters to various tastes with both authentic Asian and international cuisine. Whether you're in the mood for an open buffet, grilled fresh seafood, or specialty cocktails, there's plenty to choose from here at the PPIVB Resort.
The resort is spread out over 70 acres. This idyllic island paradise is perfect for both the adventurer and the traveler looking to unwind and rejuvenate entirely and focus on mind, body, and spirit at Wana Spa, where a team of therapists is on hand to awaken your senses with Thai herbs and services.
For leisure, enjoy workouts at the well-equipped fitness center. Alternatively, Lèn Forest Spa offers traditional Thai massage and soothing body treatments.
We loved our visit there. We rented a private speed boat for a day to explore the islands more closely. It was a magical day spent in the most beautiful place on earth!!
